Leafs V Rangers
The Leafs were facing elimination twice at the hands of the Flyers in Game 6 and Game 7. After back to back shutouts by Pekka Rinne it looked like the cup defense would end in Philly in Game 6. But some line changes sparked the Leaf offense who went on to score 10 goals in the final 2 games winning the series in 7.
Shane Doan and Corey Perry combined for 5 goals in those 2 final games and both played like the savvy veterans they are. King Henrik reclaimed the Iron Throne and now looks towards the final four with a chance to win the franchises 3rd Eastern Conference Championship.
Looking ahead to the President Trophy winning Rangers, the Leafs know they will be in tough. The Rangers are built with a top end goalie, elite defense and dynamic offense. Skill, grit, hitting, it will take a perfect series for the Leafs to upset the Rangers. Game 1 goes tonight.

Good write-up Chris!
Good luck in the semis. Will be Rangers first real test of the playoffs. If I was a betting man, I’d be putting my money on NYR here, but should be a good matchup. I do think NYR had the best roster going into the playoffs.
Gut check time for the Rags down 2-0
Noticed LundQ is down to 96 health after 2 games…he played all first 2 rounds and only hit 99 once…the Rags are wearing him down so that could end up killing me if Enroth needs to play…or maybe i rest him and play Enroth in game 3??? Would be ballsy
Double dog dare ya. LOL
