Three new players have radically changed the fate of the Maple Leafs this season. It was 14 games ago that Ron Hainsey, Wayne Simmonds and Cody Ceci joined the blue and white and the Leafs have been on fire since.

10 wins, 1 loss and 3 ties. The Leafs have outscored their opponents 21 goals over those 14 games and now sit in a much better spot with their eyes on a 10th straight playoff appearance.

This is a great reminder how even minor trades can have an amazing impact on a team. I seen a weakness and filled it and while Ron Hainsey, Wayne Simmonds and Cody Ceci will never be confused with impact players, the impact they have had was very much in need.

With the midway mark a couple weeks away the Leafs hope the new found dominance can continue into the new year. Go Leafs go!!!!!
