Let’s wrap this shit up, its been fun to look over each roster but this is the end of the 5 part series. The comments expressed by this individual should be taken with a grain of salt and is most likely tongue and cheek:

New Jersey – Another Steve (but nicknamed Nico), joined the league taking over from Blake who is about to give birth to a Kraken (ouch). Nico had some decent pieces that he quickly dispersed so it is a full on scorched earth rebuild. The Devils have a couple nice pieces they could peddle at the deadline but I sent Nico a PM days ago and he still hasn’t read it so don’t hold your breath.

Nashville – Steve (again right?) was a pubis away from being fired in the S and at the eleventh hour piped in to say whoah. How long that last remains to be seen as the Preds cling to life in the West. Currently enjoying a 5 game win streak, the Preds should be a playoff team and while not expected to break the bank at the deadline, could very well play cinderella in the playoffs with a formidable goalie tandem.

Montreal – Have the habs weathered the worst of a rebuild? Spike torn it down to the studs and has been very quiet for a long time but with some light finally starting to break through the crust, this is a team who should start ascending up the standing in the next couple years. It would be a long time coming and I think we can all agree a happy spike makes the sun just a little brighter.

Minnesota – Steve (I’m not making this up) has been active as of late interviewing league managers. Rumor has it he is a russian hacker looking for potential password answers to hack all of our cloud backups. In all seriousness, he has been a great addition to the league even though I had to think long and hard about whether this league could handle so many Steve’s…

Los Angeles – Top dog in the S, Johan is doing what needs to be done. Yes he has the most desirable player in sim hockey and the best G since Patrick Roy but he has also surrounded those two with bonified top end talent in Panrin, Stone, and Jones. Even more impressive is how Johan continues to go about his business as one of the classiest guys around.

Florida – The villain of the SHL. Some would say Dr. Evil, others would say more like Gru. Personally, I love having the outspoken Adrian running one of the best teams in the East. If Adrian can’t break through to the other side and win it all soon, he will join Mearsy and his beloved Buffalo Sabres as icing some of the most dominate rosters ever assembled in the regular season only to just come up short in the post season. Either way I look forward to watching it unfold.

Well that’s all folks, hopefully a few chuckles and no hard feelings, interested to see the rest of this season unfold. Good luck to all!
