Let’s get right into it, I assume there will be more players I don’t remember as we move on, and bigger steals as well.

Round 6 – There is one name the stick out, and the Pens won this round easily with Kris Letang, although he’s been injury prone in real life, he’s had beastly stats in the league and in sporting a 84 OV currently. At the moment of the draft, he hadn’t broken out yet, I believe if the draft was even one year later, he would go much high. Lots of good to decent NHLers where taken here like Marc-Edouard Vlasic, Josh Bailey, Milan Lucic (guys he was pretty good until he went to Edmonton and play with those untalented forwards they got other there). Misses – Nicklas Bergfors, he was taken before Letang, scored 13 goals after being drafted, and hasn’t played in the NHL since 2012, he’s had 2 pretty good seasons in the KHL and is stay playing professional hockey in the Swedish league, maybe the Hawks kept his rights, waiting for the big return, Ian White also taken here, also a mistake.

Round 7 – Dustin Byfuglien, Ryan O’Reilly and Mark Giordano, they are the best 3, and a case for the best pick of the round could be made of all 3, even though his career might be over, I think I would pick big buff, in his prime he was a Sim beast. Worst pick – Gilbert Brule, I was wondering why the hell he got picked this high, but the year before the draft he had a 37 point season, which was also his career high, after drafted he put up 23 point over 3 years before talking his talents to the Yekaterinburg Automobilist and various other KHL teams. Peter Regin, he also didn’t make it in the NHL, but has had 3 40 points season in the KHL.

Round 8 – Blake Wheeler easily wins the round hands down, his career started strangely, drafted 5th overall by the Yotes, but never signing with the, he had 3 medicore season with the Bruins. Where he was basically traded for Rich Peverly, but high career took flight, once he got the Jets. Worst pick – Cam Barker, I remember thinking this guy was going be good, he had a 40 point season in 08-09, i thought he would be a perennial norris candidate, he wasn’t, outside of that season, he was a bust of sim proposes.

Round 9 – Patrick Elias, we are at the point where there are no longer players the contributed was the whole decade. I still feel this round in quite poor, since I couldn’t find anyone too good, better he still had 3 elite years in the Sim as well as a couple more decent ones. Worst – Probably Marc Savard, great player just got injured, could he been the best pick, just never recovered. Also David Claskson and Scott Gomez taken in the round, Clarkson still has the on 30 goal season, then signs with the Leafs, that makes me happy. Gomez, the dude went of a calendar year without scoring a goal, FUCK that guy, this bitch scored 21 goals in 3 fucking years with the Habs, he stayed in the NHL for 4 years, scoring 12 more goals over that times. The Rangers signed him the a 7 years 51.5M deal, 2007, mistakes where had, at least Ryan McDonagh isn’t on the Rangers anymore. Fuck you Scott Gomez!!!

Round 10 – Chris Kunitz, it might has something to good part of the decade playing on a line with Sidney Crosby. I always feel Crosby would have a better career (its pretty great already), but when i think of great players, you think of there great linemates, happens with most players, who do you think of this Crosby, Malkin in great, but I don’t feel they play together outside of the PP most of the time. Makes me think of another player, he’s not good or anything, but Colby Armstrong did has 40 point in 47 games playing with Sid, that might be Sid’s greatest accomplishment, seriously. Outside of McDavid or Gretzky, I don’t think anyone gets that production from him. Another good pick, Thomas Griese, I just didn’t realize, he’s been pretty good for the better part of a decade. Worst pick – you could probably but half of the guy drafted at this in there, I’ll go with Tom Wandell. If I don’t remember you at all, I say you suck, he got 43 point in 229 NHL games, to his credit, he’s still playing profession hockey in 2020.

To be continued………..here comes the shitty rounds
